Dr. Volker Settels (BASF SE) was the first guest visiting COIN at both locations, Jena and Bayreuth, to gain insights into the research of COIN. In addition, he gave a presentation entitled “Polymer informatics at BASF” on current topics in the chemical industry. An intensive exchange with the doctoral researchers provided unique insights for the next generation of scientists.
