Doctoral researchers from the Research Training Group 3040 COIN recently had the opportunity to engage in a professional exchange with representatives of ALTANA AG (Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Petra Severit and Head of Science Relations, Dr. Martin Winter).
The focus was on the interdisciplinary research projects within COIN. Doctoral researchers Aaron Rajkumar, Lars Flüggen, and Michael Ringleb provided a concise introduction and shared insights into their current work.
Building on this, overarching topics such as the digitalization of laboratory processes were discussed, which play a key role both within COIN and in industry. In addition, participants explored potential approaches for future collaborations between COIN members and ALTANA AG.
The meeting thus provided a valuable opportunity for networking and for exchanging perspectives between academic research and industry.
